Le 10 francs Voltaire est un billet français créé le 4 janvier 1963 et émis du 2 janvier 1964 au 6 décembre 1973 par la Banque de France1. La note présente un portrait de Voltaire, un éminent écrivain, historien et philosophe français des Lumières.

Le billet a été émis au cours de plusieurs années et celui de 1969 fait partie de cette série. Le billet est de forme rectangulaire, en papier et mesure 145 × 80 mm2..

Au recto du billet figure un portrait de Voltaire d’après une gravure de Vivant Denon, avec le palais des Tuileries en arrière-plan2. Le verso du billet présente un autre portrait de Voltaire, cette fois en miroir, avec une illustration du château de Cirey où Voltaire vécut de 1733 à 1740
