British Antarctic Territory 1972-1979 - a selection of Wmk w12 & w14 issues - 8 x very fresh Mint Never Hinged issues - the top row of 5 are all from the 1973 issue and are all Watermark w12 sideways - SG50-54 - Cat approx £7.25. The bottom 3 are all from the later issue and are on chalky paper SG65, 66 & 68. If you turn the top 5 x stamps over the paper is much thinner and the design clearly shows through to the gum side - this is not the case with the later issue The 1973 issue were all on ordinary paper and the 3 x stamps on the bottom row are on Chalky paper and thus must be from the later issue - from the gum side the design whilst visible is not as clear as the earlier issue. Gibbons now only list the cheapest for each denomination - of the top 5 only SG50-53 are listed with a catalogue value of £4.50 - instead of SG54 Gibbons lists SG74a @ 50p - in Gibbons 2002 A-Z SG54 was catalogued @ £2.75 and SG74a was catalogued @ 50p - I ahve assumed that today SG54 will still be valued @ £2.75. For the bottom row of 3 Gibbons lists SG65 & 66 as the cheapest with a catalogue value of £1.20 - instead of SG68 Gibbons lists SG48 as the cheapest and catalogues this stamp at £1.50. In their 2002 A-Z SG48 was catalogued @ £1.50 and SG68 @ £2 - again I have assumed that the value of SG68 remains unchanged so these 3 have a total catalogue value of £3.20 making a grand total of £10.45.

All payments are to be made via PayPal or Mangopay, depending on the possibilities offered by the seller. No payments are to be made by neither cheque, bank transfer nor cash directly to the seller.

A payment that is not sent through PayPal (if accepted by the seller) or Mangopay will be refunded by the seller to the buyer. An unpaid purchase may result in consequences to the buyer's account.

If the seller's sales conditions include additional clauses relating to payment, these are to be considered null and void. The payment conditions of the Delcampe website, as defined in the conditions of use, are the only ones applicable.

Purchases must be paid for within 14 days of receipt of the final statement from the seller.

PLEASE NOTE THAT FROM APRIL 2023 ROYAL MAIL WILL INCREASE THEIR POSTAL CHARGES: MY RATES FOR POSTAGE & PACKING - EFFECTIVE 1 OCT 23 ARE AS FOLLOWS: UK normal letter 2nd class £0.85p, large letter 2nd class £1.25; for purchases over £20 stamps will be sent by recorded delivery 2nd class - normal letter is £2.25, large letter is £2.65. Mainland Europe & Rest of the World is increased to £2.25 for a normal letter. For larger items or for items costing over £20, postage will be advised at the time an invoice is sent.

Compensation: From 30 Oct 2023 'free compensation for loss or damage' is £20 per packet. For UK buyers sales above this value to £50 will be sent by Recorded mail (UK) and Next Day Delivery for sales valued at £50-£500. This is £6.85.

For overseas buyers all sales above £20 will be sent by international tracked & signed unless the buyer is prepared to accept theis stamp at their own risk at a cost of £2.25 The tracked & signed rate is is very expensive - £7.20!!
