I had another non paying bidder(97% with 15 negs).

So I ask for my fees back....Delcampe refuse to refund them!! No reason given. So if I understant correctly, they prefer to keep a non-paying bidder with a clear history of non-payment then a good seller?

The only communication delcampe gave me is: leave negative for this buyer.
Well sorry to burst your bubble but explain to me what a 16th negative will change??? He will remain on delcampe anyway.

I want my fees back. I want my fee back because this buyer should have been removed a long time ago. I am an honest seller, great feedback, I pay my fees, and I pay my seller when buying.

I had enough,

I have been doing a lot of advertising for delcampe (www.squidoo.com/delcampe , Link (http) and also on www.squidoo.com/stampslore and on various discussion board) but will stop everything now.

I have also ended all my listing (close to 300). For the moment. Will I hear from delcampe? I hope so, if not my buyers know where to find my listings.

bonsoir cousin SL,

this is most unusual to be refused by delcampe in a matter such as this. in all the times i have not been paid (which are many) and asked for a refund, i have never been refused. and i think my reasons were good. perhaps you should contact evelyne and discuss this with her before making rash decisions. one shouldn't cut off their nose to spite their face as they say. cajun used to get mad when he worked on his car and throw his tools down. :angryfire: i quit doing that when i hit my foot. :crying: lesson learned. :gna:

un bonne WE au vous. :rose:

Dear Stampslore,

" The only communication delcampe gave me is: leave negative for this buyer.

It's correct. We ask our sellers to at least give a rating to their non-paying buyers. It's the only way for us to detect them.

" Well sorry to burst your bubble but explain to me what a 16th
" negative will change??? He will remain on delcampe anyway

That's wrong. We have a daily automatic checker that verifies all accounts. Each day, between 5 and 10 accounts are closed thanks to this system. And, if the account has a lot of rating (which seems to be the case of your buyer), the closing is not automatically, an email is sent by our automatic checker to require our team to check this humanly.

Believe me, give the negative, then ask the refund and you will get it.

If everyone plays the game, the site will remain safe for all.

Best regards, Sebastien Delcampe

Good morning Sebastien,

I gave him the neg feedback.
This is the first time I have to do this BEFORE getting my fees back.

Now I am awaiting the retaliatory negative feedback that will probably follow.

And by the way the last buyer I gave negative was at 96% when I gave his neg...he is now at 95% with OVER 200 negative for non-payment...he is still registered......

I have place a second refund demand, I hope this time it will be granted.

And by the way, I always give the non payer the feedback they deserve (you can check my ebay feedback), but here I really feel it is useless to risk retaliation since there is very little consequences for non-payer.

Just my opinion

Dear Stampslore,

You are not force to believe me, but I have nothing to earn with keeping bad members.

But, you should understand we can not fire automatically a member who has had hundreds of positive feedbacks, depsite he gets one or two dozens negatives: such case should be handled by a human of my team... and that requires time.

Thank you for your good follow-up. Your request will be handled by my team asap (but not there is now holiday time in Belgium for Easter).

bonjour sebastien,
many members are very unaware of this rule about leaving a negative rating first, then asking for a refund of a commission fee. is this in the charter? i have been here 7 years, almost from the beginning of your site, and not been aware of this rule. if there are rule changes to be made, perhaps they should be posted monthly for the members. and these membership problems will solve themselves without any assistance from the team. thank you for solving this matter. :cool2:

un bonne WE au vous.

Just an update,

The buyer paid so I shipped. I would like to remove the neg for non-payment, not sure how/if I can do that. If someone can help.

As for the sequence in which the procedure should be taken, IMO, a non-paying email should be send to buyer, from Delcampe, when a seller request his fees back. After a few days, if no response, Delcampe should refund and then seller can leave feedback.

As I said earlier, this is the first time I have to leave feedback BEFORE getting my credit. Anyway I did cancel the request of course.

As cajunsr said many if not most are unaware of this rule. I was, and this is not the first time I request my fees (unfortunatly).

Best day to everybody!

bonjour stampslore,
you might be able to remove the negative if you contatct sebastien, and i think you can reply to a feedback when there is a BLUE message in colon marks. you could give a 100% there (unofficially) too to rectify the situation. and apologize for the confusion with an explanation. as for a time frame for payment, i usually give 10 days for u.s. customers, 15 days for overseas customers with followup emails beyond that. if no payments by then, i make my request for a commission refund. i usually have had no problems. and i tell sebastien if the customer does make a late payment, he will get his commission. giving the negative rating at that time is up to you. by the by, i have had some very late payments come in due to many reasons such as sickness, deaths in the family, and others. we must realize our customers are only human and have family problems like us. and cajun can surely attest to that.

un bonne semaine a vous mon ami.

amities,
cajunsr.
