cancelling an invoice     Mon 23rd Jun 2008 01:35:08

Hi all
How do I go about canceling an invoice that has been sent. I have sent 1 invoice and the buyer has purchased more items. I want to cancel the first one and send 1 new invoice for the total purchases. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

bonsoir john,

if your customer has contacted you, tell him to ignore the first invoice as you will send a final one to include a total with combined shipping if that is how you do your invoicing. if he has not contacted you, just give him the same information when he does. as i do not use the MB invoice system, i contact each of my clients personally. sometimes i don't get a response only to find they are bidding on another item days later. poor communication is often the achilles heel of the seller and buyer on any auction. hope this helps you out.

Cajunsr1 is right.

What's an invoice between friends? As a paying customer, I just pay the right amount as soon as possible if it's possible for me to calculate it , often before the invoice is issued, so this saves the bother of preparing it. I think "cancelling" the invoice is almost meaningless in practice.

It is easier than you think. Don't get bogged down in paperwork. You aren't Argos.
