Item description:

37 Visiting Cards, JHS, Class of 1907. Janesville, Wisconsin. Printed in a variety of typographic styles of fonts, type of card stock varies. One card from the set is handwritten with the notation "JHS '07," location was confirmed by other material found with this set. Cards printed as young adults left high school to enter community social life, 100 years ago. Many interesting names: Agnes Buckmaster, Pliny Morse, Sadie M. Clapp, Miss Maude Spoon, Noah Dietrich, Nellie Canary, and many more: Ehrlinger, Crall, Osgood, Langdon, Douglas, Mills, and many more. Cards vary in size, 3 by 1-5/8 to 3-1/2 by 2-1/4 inches. Some light surface wear, occasional chipped or torn corners.
