"New" Adams House Restaurant, Boston, Massachusetts - Vintage Menu for Wednesday, Oct. 14, 1936. Carte du Jour and Luncheon special, with some items in the Full Course Luncheon underlined in pencil. Everything from Oysters, half dozen for 25 cents; to entrees of Yorkshire veal saute for 45 cents, or Roast leg of spring lamb for 55 cents; to desserts such as eclairs or French pastry for 10 cents. Back side has an extensive wine, coctail, and spirit list: Mayfair Whisky for 25 cents, Champagne cocktail for 50 cents, and Haig and Haig for 40 cents. Menu measures 10-5/8 by 12 inches unfolded. Light surface and edge wear; light horizontal crease across middle.
